WORCESTER, MA -- After their brother was tragically shot and killed in 2012, Jamal and Jamil Merrell (Rutgers) formed a bond tighter than ever before. After countless hours of waiting, Jamal received a call from the Titans yesterday, signing as an undrafted free agent. Despite Jamil not receiving a call, as of the time this article was written, there's still optimism that Jamil will be invited to mini-camp later Sunday afternoon.
Back in January, during the Medal of Honor Bowl Week, Jamal and Jamil shared their thoughts as they pursue their dreams to play professional football as well as obstacles they've faced during their journey. WATCH BELOW
